I entered the field in 2015 and practiced as a medical social worker prior to becoming a psychotherapist. My approach is influenced by these experiences working with those living with PTSD and chronic/acute illnesses.
I use a psychoanalytic approach to therapy with a particular focus on the psyche-soma (body-mind) connection.
I am Level II Hakomi graduate and a psychoanalyst-in-training at the
Northwestern Psychoanalytic Society and Institute (NPSI).
Through the University of Washington I provide supervision to graduate students as a Practicum Field Instructor.
In short:
We will definitely explore how you and I relate in session,
how you feel your feelings in your body,
and approach unconscious processes with curiosity.
I acknowledge we are on the traditional territory of
the Coast Salish peoples, specifically the Duwamish Tribe.
I acknowledge that I am an uninvited inhabitant of this land.
I invite you to learn more about and stand in solidarity with the original stewards of this land, a people who are still here,
